He’s coached the likes of Bob Hope and started the largest indoor golf school in the country with over 3,500 students. Gene’s been featured several times on ESPN where he and partner Dan Carlisle an Olympic shooter, won the golf and shoot completion against JC Snead. To share the power of his coaching in the last 5 years, 10 of his students have made holes in one. One of Gene’s proudest moments was being tutored by Charlie Sifford Senior the first black man to play the PGA tour as well as hall of fame inductee. Gene turned his golf skills into selling and joined the ranks of the top 50 Lincoln salesman in the country. Never losing is love of golf, Gene has recently retired from the Silver Lake Country club as the Director of Instruction and is Currently the Women’s head Golf coach at D2 Ashland University.
